Why it is good to buy from small businesses – June edition.

Another month has passed and we have supported 4 different artists. (˶ᵔᗜᵔ˶)ノ゙

These two cuties were bought through Minne via the Doorzo proxy. Technically they were bought in May but due to long shipping times from Japan, they did not arrive until June. ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

I had been eyeing the black cat for a while and when I finally got the budget for a more expensive doll, he was still up for grabs. There was much rejoicing. ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜ The little crocheted elephant is a keychain that is hanging off my handbag as a new bag charm. Maybe I should alternate between bagcharms but for now its 4 buddies attached.

Paraply

Next up is the cute art of Paraply from Germany! I really love her soft and cutesy style. She has a lot of fun things on her online shop, from socks to notepads, to sticker sheets, die cut stickers, charms and art prints. I have framed all of the 4 prints to put in our relax room when it is finished. To further support her, I’ve signed up for her monthly mail club which for me is € 8,50 + tax. Can’t wait to see what she sends me for July (˶>⩊<˶)

Niniwanted

Last up for June is Niniwanted and her kawaii style is just my cup of tea. I even bought a how to draw book so I can decorate my Japan journal pages, buuut I might get lazy and just use stickers instead haha. Her Japan-themed die cut stickers are what drew me into her website when I came across her art on Instagram. Some have already been stuck on my journals. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

July independent artists have already been ordered and will be show off next month!
